Pentecost, May 19
May 19, we will commemorate Pentecost with a full day including our morning worship service at 10:00AM — remember to wear red extra points for red shoes!) Later in the afternoon, we will regather for our annual Parish celebration. We’re changing it up this year – stay tuned for more details… but there will be an “international flavor” this year…
ONGOING EVENTS
Sunday Rector’s Forum - The Rector’s Forum will offer a wide variety of topics featuring interactive teaching and discussion, as we explore together ways to understand, articulate, and live out our identity as people of an ancient faith in our current time. 9:00AM on Sundays
Godly Play - Our discipleship for children ages three and up is centered on Godly Play, a premier children’s experiential curriculum based upon Montessori principles. Godly Play helps children explore their faith through story, gain faith language, and enhance their spiritual experience through wonder and play.
NOTE: Godly Play breaks for the summer beginning Sunday, May 26 and resumes in August. But children are always warmly welcome in our multi-generational worship services!
Wednesdays at CEC
Morning Prayer - Join us each Monday for Morning Prayer in Hope Chapel at 9:00AM.
Women’s Bible Study - Ladies, don’t miss out! We meet Wednesdays at 10:00AM in the Parish Hall for rich study, warm fellowship, and quite a bit of laughter!
Wednesday Evening Discipleship
We kick off our Reel Faith: God in the Movies at CEC on Wednesday, June 5. You can watch the movie and hope and join us for the discussion in the Parish Hall at 6:30PM or come early at 4:30PM to view the movie here. Hope to see you there!
Mahjong Mondays
We will host only one Mahjong gathering in November – mark your calendars for Monday, November 13, at 1:00PM. Remember it’s open to newbies and experienced players. Come join old friends and meet new ones – join in the fun!
