Pentecost Celebration 2022

What a glorious Pentecost Celebration!

Make it stand out

We had great service where the Spirit’s power was tangible!

Later that day, 117 people gathered for the Sunday evening fun – our members were joined by 40 members from St. Andrew’s as well as quite a few friends and neighbors. What joy to see everyone in red fill the Parish Hall and Youth Room as well as spread outside where there were games and bubbles galore for our younger attendees!

We were able to share from our table as well. Thanks to Betty Minton, we delivered a left-over BBQ and delicious sides from our Pentecost Celebration to the Sharing Center of Central Florida, a homeless shelter in Cocoa. Their community kitchen program offers meals Monday through Saturday: 11:00AM – 1:00PM.

LOWKEY FLORIDA

Lowkey Florida’s music began and ended the evening to rave reviews – very grateful to Jeff Carver and Eric Olsen!

Eight incredible chili contestants – congrats to Emma (Russ and Diane Lewey’s granddaughter) who was awarded “Best Overall” and to Andrew Hemmer who won “Most Creative.”

PIE CONTEST

We had nine pie entries – and we cleaned those pans! We are very grateful to our judge, Angela McEllin, of the Florida Academy of Baking. Congratulations to our winners: Nancy Aery (First Place), Susan Carver (Second Place), and Rebecca Taylor, (Third Place).

Many thanks to the incredible team that made this vision a reality: Lisa Coyle, Deb Hartegan, Russ Lewey, Betty Minton), Jim Kiss, Jim Deyette, Robin and Mike Switzer. YOU ROCK! We’re already anticipating next year’s fun! We have lots of pictures in case you were unable to join us or want to relive the fun!
