A Night of Jazz at Christ Episcopal Church

On Friday, December 10th, Christ Episcopal Church (CEC) opened its doors to the community for a free jazz concert featuring artists from the Space Coast Jazz Society. Billy Davis, Fred Goodnight, Phil Coe, Ron Pirtle, and vocalist Kristen Warren sang jazz classics and holiday favorites to the packed group in the Nave.

“After months of Covid-separation and the numerous improvements to our buildings and grounds, this was a wonderful way to begin re-introducing ourselves to Suntree-Viera and share our new beginning,” said Mother Cynthia Brust, Rector of CEC. “This was the first of many special events we plan to offer the community in the coming months and years.”

A huge thank you is in order to those who made the evening possible: Lisa Coyle, Holly Killick, Betty Minton, Deb Hartegan, Jim Deyette, Jim Kiss, Robin Switzer, Deacon Mike Switzer, and the two Bright Future students from Viera High School who helped direct parking.
